OBJECTIVE

To understand customer journeys and identify where customer drop-off rates exceed the industry standards for an e-commerce solution. The primary objective: To enhance the performance of an e-commerce platform and reduce cart abandonment rates.

SOLUTION

Analysis of user behavior using Analytical software and heat maps, to provide insights into customer journeys and pain points. This data highlighted increased areas of drop off, including bloated checkout processes and a lack of product information.

Several strategies were implemented:

  • The checkout process was streamlined to reduce the number of steps and simplify the user experience.
  • Product pages were optimized with clear images, detailed descriptions, and customer reviews to increase trust and confidence in the products.
  • Personalized email campaigns were launched to reengage users with cart abandonments.
RESULT
  • Increased informed decision making.
  • Streamlined internal meetings utilizing analytical data and reports.
  • User abandonment decreased. Shopping cart abandonment decreased.
